Gabion (the Spanish word is gaviones) is wire mesh in double twist
strong and durable.
The most common civil engineering use of high quality gabian
baskets was in the late 1800s to stabilize shorelines, stream banks
or slopes against erosion.
Other uses include retaining walls, temporary flood walls, silt
filtration from runoff, for small or temporary / permanent dams,
river training, or channel lining.
As a hard wire cloth the netting could be installed covering the
slope surface to prevent people from being hurt by falling stones.
A great application is gabion is used for channel linings, river
training, soil retention, slope stabilization, and other
applications successfully throughout the world for over 100 years.
It can be a rectangular box shape. Mounted within are diaphragms
that form equal size compartments or cells. The compartments or
cells are filled with natural stone and the diaphragms limiting
stone migration within the basket and providing an even
distribution throughout the basket even after structural movement.

1.hot-dip galvanized low carbon steel wire.
2.Zinc-5%Al or10%Al-mixed rare earth alloy coating, also named
Galfan. lifetime 3times min than hot-dip galvanized gabion.
3.PVC coated , PVC coated on hot-dip galvanized steel wire and
Galfan, many kinds of color.
